October 16: Paper Sweeties October 2017 New Release Rewind!

Hello there!
Alas, today is the last day of the Paper Sweeties October Release! 

The products are available in the Sweeties Shop...






I think this has become my favorite release!!! I am in love with the tag die and home and tree stamps!!!!
I stamped the images with Memento black ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used shades 
YG61, 63, 67 and W0, 2, 4 for the tree with the blue house.
W0, 1, 3, 5, 7 and B000, B00, B01 for the house. I added some white accents with a gel pen.

For this tag,
YG61, 63, 67 and E23, 25, 29 tree with red house.
W0, 1, 3, 5, 7 and R27, 29, 59. I added some white accents with a gel pen.
I embellished the tags with an assortment of tulle, ribbon, twine, cord and buttons from the craft store.

October 15: Paper Sweeties October 2017 New Release Party!

Hello there Sweeties Fans!!!
Welcome back to day 2 of the Paper Sweeties October Release!
There are two new stamp sets and coordinating dies...

Today I am showcasing the new set For You,
I started off inking up a piece of cardstock with distress inks in worn lipstick and mustard seed. Than I added some splatter with watered down white paint. 
I die cut a piece of vellum with Sweet Cuts Stitched Tags #1 and stamped the sentiment with Ranger Archival Ink, works best on vellum.  I used a few different flower dies and die cut some felt flowers, five petal, three petal and six petal. I scattered some sequins you can find in the Sweeties Shop.
The background gold glitter polka dot paper is Recollections. Thye buttons, ribbon and twine are from my local craft shop.

My next card...
I used the same Paper Sweeties products as above. I inked the tag and background with worn lipstick and broken china distress inks. White paint splatter.
The supplies are the same as above.
I just love these felt flowers!!!!

October 14: Paper Sweeties October 2017 New Release Sneak Peeks!

Hello there!
Time for Paper Sweeties October Release!!!

Debbie has created two new stamp sets and coordinating dies

Today I am showcasing the set Home is Where Your Story Begins. I combined it with Sweet Cuts Circle Scallop Frames. I inked up the cardstock with broken china distress ink. 
I stamped the images with black ink from Memento and colord them with Copic Markers. I used shades YG61, 63, 67, 
W00, 1, 2, 4, 5,
BG000, 10, 11
R81, 83
I added some white accents with a gel pen.

Next card,
I inked up the Sweet Cuts Square Scallop Frame with worn lipstick and mustard seed distress inks. I added a few splatter marks with watered down white acrylic paint. I also used Sweet Cuts Basket Add On .

Merry Christmas CDD Release

Hello there!!
Michelle here on the CDD Blog sharing another project I've created with the October Release!!!! I'm so happy to show you what I have created!!!!
You'll be seeing the new stamps and dies Craftin' Desert Divas has instore for you....you will love them!!!
This adorable girl is from the set Oh What Fun!
To start, I inked up the background of two cardstock panels with distress inks in broken china and worn lipstick. Than added a few splashes of water...looks like snow :) I die cut the pink panel with Fancy Frame Dies. I embellished the background with dies from Outdoor Landscape 2 Dies. I added some shimmer sequins.
I stamped the sentiment and image with Memento black ink and colored them with Copics. 
E41, 42, 43, 44 (hat, coat, pants and birch tree)
E11, 000, 93 (skin)
E23, 29, 49 (hair and shoes)
B000 (eyes)
E15, 37 (cookies)
E70, 71, 74 (tray)

Craftin' Desert Divas October Release!

Hello there!!
Michelle here on the CDD Blog sharing the October Release!!!! I'm so happy to show you what I have created!!!!
You'll be seeing the new stamps and dies Craftin' Desert Divas has instore for you....you will love them!!!


I am starting off with this adorable angel from the set Angel Kisses....love this!!!
I inked up the backgrounds with broken china and fired brick distress inks.  I die cut one panel with Fancy Frame Dies. I die cut a piece of broken china using Inside Scalloped Circle Dies. I used the flower dies that come with the set as poinsettias. I used fired brick and twisted citron distress inks.
I stamped the angel and sentiment with Memento black ink and colored with Copics.
E11, 13, 000 (skin)
E23, 29, 49 (hair)
B000 (eyes and wings)
Y15, 17 (halo and candle)
I added some white accents with a gel pen and maple leaves sequins.

For this last card I used the set Nice List.
I stamped all the images with Memento black ink and colored them with Copic markers.
I colored the deer and gift boxes in shades
E40, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 93, C5, YR24, G000 ( deer and background)
R46, 59, W00, 1 (gift boxes)
I added some white accents with a gel pen.
I used a few different dies, Fancy Frame Dies, Inside Scalloped Circle Dies, Treat Box Dies. I scattered some maple leaves sequins and added some red twine and mini gold clothespin.

Grateful for all you do.

My turn to share for the CCD Monthly Mood Board Challenge!!!!

I had to use the adorable mouse set, Harvest Wishes.

Doesn't this set just make you smile ;)
I started off by taping up some watercolored cardstock with washi tape and adding some horizontal stripes with mowed lawn distress ink. After that dried I used the scalloped frame die from Fancy Frame Dies to cut the background panel.
I stamped the mice family with Memento black ink than colored them with Copic Markers in shades 
B02, 16 (overalls and bird)
C3, 5, 7 ( spoon, pie pan and shoes)
E11, 13, 15, 18 (mice)
E33, 34, 41, 42 (pie and apron)
R32, 35, 37, 39 (dresses and bow)
YG63 (stems and vines)
YR00, 02, 04 (pumpkins)
I added some white accents with agel pen than fussy cut the trio. Next I die cut a smaller panel from Vellum paper using Fancy Frames Dies. I stamped the sentiment combining two sets, Harvest Wishes and Tiny Sentiments.
The background includes other elements from Outdoor Landscape 2 Dies and Treat Bag Die. For a finishing touch I added some twine and a button.

Paper Sweeties Challenge - October 2017 Anything Goes!

Hello there! 
Happy October 1st!!!
The weather sure feels like fall, but Ilove it!!!

Let's start the month off with a fun challenge with Paper Sweeties...

Today I am giving you a glimpse of what's to come in a few weeks...
I started off with a cloud die from the set Let's Go to the Beach Sweet Cuts and made a mask/ stencil and inked up some clouds. I used distress ink in peacock feathers. I stamped and die cut the pumpkins and flowers from the set Thankful. I stamped the images with black ink from Memento and Copic Markers in shades YR02, YR04, YR07, Y11, Y15, Y38, E25, E29. I added some white accents with a gel pen.
How pretty is that tag and sentiment?! Stay tuned...you'll see more in a few weeks!!!!
I used the set Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts dies to add the vines and Thinking of You Sweet Cuts to add the leaves. The sequins and Seam Binding can be found in the Sweeties Shop!!! The button and twine are from my stash.
